At eight years old, my son asked me, "Dad, can I exercise with you?" This profound moment of reflection, etched in my mind for the rest of my life, is most likely the seed that lead to the creation of Dewey Does. This same moment, a vision captured in my mind of my son as he stood in front of our home carrying as much of his sports equipment as his arms could hold while on his way to his friend Zack's home to play, lead to the design of the Dewey Does All-Sport logo that brands the Dewey Does online store front today.
Dewey Does is a nine-year-old boy who loves sports. That’s right, all Sports! And, Dewey Does is that advocate for youth health and fitness for kids all over the world, fighting childhood obesity since 2006 through the Dewey Does Foundation. Recently, Dewey Does has teamed up with non-profits, like Rotary International and Brothers Care, to help promote youth literacy by writing and distributing children’s books, FREE, to elementary school grade children near and far.
